From world-class and down-home performing arts events to galleries filled with work by local and Alaskan artists, Sitka has a lot to offer.

At least two local entrepreneurs have developed shore excursion tours for cruise visitors that focus on Sitka's art assets. One tour is the "Wild Arts Artist Walk" that includes a hands-on experience for the visitor to do some glass blowing. Another focuses on Sitka's photographic opportunities in a three-hour tour that takes visitors to the best spots to capture Sitka in all its stunning, wild beauty.
